Ipsum is a specialist engineering services provider working across critical infrastructure, including power, water and utilities networks.

As Senior Creative at Jam, I led the design of a more modern, cohesive website that better reflected the scale of their business and made it easier for users to navigate their services.

Alongside the website, there was also a need to bring consistency to supporting materials, including ESG reporting and sector specific brochures.

Website redesign
Creating a clearer structure and more modern digital experience

I led the design of a new website, starting with sitemap development and wireframing through to responsive design.

The focus was on creating a clear, structured user experience that made it easier for visitors to understand Ipsum’s offer and navigate between services, while bringing a more modern and consistent visual identity to the brand online.

Supporting collateral
Bringing consistency across marketing materials

Alongside the website, I designed a digital ESG report and a set of sector brochures.

The ESG report was created as a digital first document. The document was to present information clearly and professionally, ensuring data was easily digestible and visually engaging.

The brochures were designed to support different areas of the business, creating a consistent set of materials that could be used across sales and marketing.

Follow on project: SES website
Simplifying how users find and access training

Following the success of the initial project, I was commissioned to design a new website for SES, Ipsum’s training partner.

This involved combining two existing platforms, online and in person training, into a single, streamlined experience.

The project was heavily UX focused, shaping how users discover courses, navigate content and move through to booking.

The site also included account functionality, allowing users to access and complete both online and in person training.

The result

A clearer, more modern digital presence for Ipsum, supported by a consistent set of marketing materials across web and print.

The work led to further commissions, including the SES website project, demonstrating the value of a more considered and user focused approach.
